Ludovic Cuny’s journey into the world of culinary excellence traces its roots to his father, an accomplished chef in France. From a tender age, Ludovic found himself exploring the kitchen of his father’s restaurant in the Alsace region, renowned for its rich food culture. The inherent love for gastronomy in the Alsace region, coupled with exposure to respected chefs and exceptional restaurants, laid the foundation for Ludovic’s deep connection with the culinary arts.
Inspired by his early experiences, Ludovic formally embarked on his culinary education at the prestigious Alexandre Dumas School of Culinary. There, he earned a Diploma in Culinary Arts, setting the stage for a remarkable career. His culinary journey swiftly gained momentum, leading him to work in glamorous locations worldwide, including New York, London, Paris, and Saint-Tropez.
Growing up with a father who served as his culinary inspiration, Ludovic’s first foray into the kitchen occurred at the age of seven. His dream of exploring global cuisines and culinary traditions came to fruition when he joined the renowned Alain Ducasse, dedicating eight years to refining his skills and contributing to Ducasse’s remarkable 21 Michelin stars.
Ludovic’s Michelin-starred experience included working at iconic establishments like Le Jules Verne at the Eiffel Tower and Benoit Restaurant in New York City. His move to England marked a pivotal chapter, where he embraced the passion for superb food and contributed to London’s thriving culinary scene.
Joining The Grill at The Dorchester under Alain Ducasse and later ascending to the position of executive pastry chef at The Birley Group’s Annabel’s, Ludovic found a dynamic and creative work environment. Ludovic’s culinary journey at Annabel’s was marked by six years of dedicated service, during which he not only navigated the challenges of managing multiple restaurants within the club, each with its unique identity but also opened Annabel’s, solidifying his impact on the prestigious establishment. Additionally, he showcased his global culinary reach by opening a pop-up in Saudi Arabia, not once, but twice. Despite the high-pressure environment, he cherished the exclusivity of Annabel’s and the opportunity to cater to discerning clientele.
Ludovic has brought his culinary expertise to Miami as part of Mr. Hospitality, where he contributes his wealth of experience and passion to the city’s vibrant dining scene. He opened Queen Miami Beach, a testament to his commitment to culinary innovation and excellence. He now oversees the culinary programs across all Mr. Hospitality venues — Queen Miami Beach, Marion Miami, and Lafayette Steakhouse — elevating each concept with his signature blend of creativity, precision, and refinement.
