Celebrity chef, Festival favorite, and 2023 Tribute Dinner Honoree Alex Guarnaschelli will break bread at the Festival’s headquarter hotel, Loews Miami Beach, with a mouthwatering menu inspired by the Academy Award-winning Godfather films. For this exclusive SOBEWFF® dinner, Chef Guarnaschelli will take over the kitchen at Preston’s alongside 5-time James Beard-nominated chef, José Mendín and Brooklyn-born chef Santo Agnello, formerly of Lucali. The duo recently joined forces to open the Italian restaurant, Casa Isola, inspired by the authentic flavors of Sicily and Agnello’s nonna. All together, they’ll dish out their own recreations of the Corleone family’s traditional Italian recipes – from antipasto to cannoli and everything in between. Featuring a superlative selection of Italian wines from the Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits portfolio, this is one offer you can’t – and quite frankly, won’t want to – refuse.

All net proceeds from the Festival benefit the students of the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management who assist Festival organizers in all aspects, including Festival planning, logistics and overall execution.
