The name Frudeco—short for Fruit Decor—reflects her first concept of pairing elegant cakes with curated fruit designs. As demand grew, her focus evolved to sculptural cakes, handmade macarons, meringues, dipped fruits, and playful “fruit sushi.” In 2018, Frudeco officially opened its doors, quickly attracting local and celebrity clients and features on major outlets like Univision.

Yarden’s journey was far from easy. In 2017 she balanced several jobs, English classes, and recipe testing at home while dreaming of her own bakery. Her dedication led her to study with world-renowned pastry masters including Amaury Guichon and Michel Ernots, refining her skills and creative vision.

When the pandemic hit, Yarden adapted quickly—streamlining delivery, working long hours, and personally ensuring every Frudeco box delivered joy and beauty to customers. In 2020, she became the first tenant in Little Haiti’s Ebb & Flow retail hub, a milestone that marked her pioneering spirit.

Today, Frudeco is celebrated for its artistry, taste, and warm workplace culture—what Yarden calls her “second family.” She continues to dream bigger, envisioning a gallery-like flagship location and luxury collaborations that honor edible art as a true creative expression.
