Born and raised in Amman, Jordan, Ahmad Aleikish carries his heritage and culture into every kitchen he leads. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, an affiliate of Les Roches in Switzerland, he began his career blending classical training with a modern vision for hospitality.
His early path included hospitality consulting, menu development, and the creation of multiple dining concepts across Amman. He gained valuable experience with international brands such as W Amman and Kempinski at the Red Sea, where he developed a reputation for merging local flavors with global culinary techniques.
Ahmad’s career expanded internationally when he joined Bazaar by José Andrés at the SLS South Beach in Miami. Recognized for his extraordinary ability, he was granted the O-1 visa, awarded to individuals with exceptional talent. He continued his growth at Fi’lia in SLS Brickell before transitioning to DUA Miami, an Autograph Collection, where he advanced to the role of Chef de Cuisine.
Alongside his hotel career, Ahmad re-launched AHUMAR Miami, a concept dedicated to wood-fire Italian cuisine, where his creativity and passion for bold, rustic flavors come to life.
Today, Ahmad continues to evolve as a chef and leader, uniting his Jordanian roots with international influences. His journey reflects not only technical mastery, but also a love for storytelling through food and the creation of memorable dining experiences.
