The experiences Andy Erickson gained from a summer in France during university and many subsequent trips to wine growing regions in Europe, fueled his enthusiasm for the concept of “terroir”, as well as for wines made from special places. Andy’s goal as a winemaker is to highlight the character of each unique vineyard site he works with, whether at a client’s estate vineyards or the vineyards that produce the Favia wines. Feeling incredibly lucky to call Napa Valley his home, Andy constantly marvels at the diversity of soils and microclimates in this small yet diverse valley.
