Tracey Shepos
Executive Chef for Jackson Family Wines
Tracey Shepos Cenami is the Vice President of Culinary and Executive Chef for Jackson Family Wines, leading culinary strategy and experiential programming across the family-owned portfolio of more than 48 wineries worldwide. In her role, Tracey works closely with winemakers, growers, and brand teams to create food-and-wine experiences that reflect each estate’s sense of place, sustainability values, and commitment to quality—bringing the Jackson Family Wines story to life through cuisine.
Based at the iconic Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens, Tracey’s influence extends far beyond the flagship property. She oversees estate culinary programs, seasonal menu development, and pairing philosophy across the organization, shaping experiences for media, trade, consumers, and strategic partners. With access to estate-grown produce, Sonoma Coast seafood, and the region’s leading artisans, she has helped build an award-winning, revenue-driving culinary platform that is widely regarded as one of the most respected food and wine programs in California wine country.
Tracey’s culinary point of view is deeply rooted in seasonality, hospitality, and collaboration. Raised in an Italian family where cooking was central to daily life, she began her professional journey in kitchens at an early age and went on to attend the Culinary Institute of America in San Francisco. Her training includes formative mentorship under Chef Michael Romano at New York City’s Union Square Café, followed by roles in some of San Francisco’s most acclaimed restaurants. Prior to joining Jackson Family Wines, she spent eight years as Executive Chef for Stark Reality Restaurants in Sonoma County, where she led the opening of five restaurants and developed a highly successful catering operation.
Beyond her leadership within Jackson Family Wines, Tracey is a nationally recognized culinary voice. She is the author of the IACP Cookbook of the Year, Season: A Year of Wine Country Food, Farming, Family, & Friends, and a frequent Food Network competitor, appearing on Beat Bobby Flay, Alex vs. America, Tournament of Champions, Grudge Match, Chopped and Guy’s Grocery Games, where she earned four wins, including the 2023 Ultimate Winner’s Face-Off Champion title.
Committed to mentorship and community impact, Tracey supports organizations including Sonoma Family Meal and the Guy Fieri Foundation and serves as a founding board member of the Sonoma County chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier, advancing women in food, beverage, and hospitality. She lives in Sonoma County with her husband and son, embracing an active, community-centered life that mirrors the values she brings to her work at Jackson Family Wines.
