Guided by that passion, he took the next step in his culinary journey and founded Woody’s Backyard Grill, a place where his vision for quality food, community, and hospitality could come to life.

His commitment to excellence and creativity in the pit have earned him notable recognition, including 1st Place in the Brisket Competition and 1st Place Overall at the Berry Farm BBQ Showdown Competition.
