Description
As part of the South Beach Food & Wine Festival, Red Rooster Overtown proudly hosts a vibrant, soul-stirring brunch led by acclaimed culinary visionary Marcus Samuelsson—a celebration rooted in history, culture, and community.
This year’s brunch shines a spotlight on the rich African and Caribbean diaspora that has shaped Overtown for generations and continues to define Miami’s cultural and culinary tapestry. Drawing inspiration from the Caribbean influences that are woven into Red Rooster Overtown’s menu, the experience blends bold flavors, deep tradition, and modern expression—honoring the people and stories that made Overtown a crossroads of global Black culture.
Live Caribbean music fills the room, lifting the energy and transforming the brunch into a true homecoming—joyful, rhythmic, and unmistakably Overtown. It’s a festive return to a place where food, music, and culture have always converged, and where Red Rooster stands as both a gathering space and a cultural anchor.
More than a meal, this brunch is a celebration of diaspora, legacy, and living culture—an invitation to experience Overtown the way it has always been meant to be experienced: together, loudly, and with love.
