GENERAL
ADMISSION
Michel Chapoutier is one of the most highly regarded winemakers in France. With his guidance, the family firm has become the benchmark Rhône wine producer. He combines the modern and the traditional: crusading for biodynamic winemaking, while expanding operations around the globe and experimenting with cutting edge winemaking techniques. Today, M. Chapoutier is the only producer to own vineyards in all of the major Rhône appellations.
While considered to be one large region, the Rhône is better thought of as divided into two distinct parts – the North and the South. These two parts of the Rhône differ in terms of climate, soil, dominant grape variety, trellising and style of wine. Antonin Bonnet, the winery’s Export Director, will take you on a Tour of M. Chapoutier and some of the world’s greatest Rhône Wines.
