Award-winning actress, director, producer, entrepreneur and activist Eva Longoria Bastón is heading to Miami, and bringing a tasty surprise along with her as she hosts this dazzling tequila-forward dinner at Verde at the Pérez Art Museum Miami. The Mexican-American actress is also a co-founder of Casa Del Sol, the seriously cool, ultra-premium female-influenced tequila brand making waves for both its phenomenal flavor and the sustainable method and craft by which it’s made.
For this once-in-a-lifetime dining experience, she’ll be joined by two other disciples of the brand -- chef, Food Network star and curator of Casa Del Sol’s pitch-perfect cocktails and food pairings, Nikki Martin; and fine art and celebrity photographer Brian Bowen Smith, who will showcase some of his most eye-catching works of art as part of the evening’s festivities. And to gild the lily even further, we’ve called on Lorena Garcia, the venerable Venezuelan-born Executive Chef of CHICA (in Miami, Las Vegas and Aspen), to prepare a decadent Latin-flavored menu that expertly complements the sipping tequila’s sweet aroma and smooth, warm taste. Set against the museum’s sweeping views of Biscayne Bay -- and featuring stellar support from Verde’s Executive Chef, Jeremy Shelton -- this SOBEWFF® showstopper will proudly highlight the true spirit of hospitality with each resplendent course.
Guests will be assigned seating prior to this event. We can only guarantee that tickets purchased within the same transaction will be seated together. All proceeds from the Festival benefit the students of the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management who assist Festival organizers in all aspects, including Festival planning, logistics and overall execution.
All guests, talent, staff, students and working personnel at all event venues will be required to complete a digital health screening through SymCheck™. This includes attestation of either: a negative COVID-19 test no more than 72 hours prior to the event OR completed vaccination plus presentation of a cleared SymCheck™ QR Code. Anyone presenting symptoms on arrival will be denied entry.
