Description

Not flying to Spain anytime soon? Let's make up for that and add a dash of Miami sazón. Beloved South Florida restaurateur, and James Beard Award-winner Chef Michelle Bernstein and one of Miami’s top mixologists Gio Gutierrez aka @ChatChowTV, will host this legendary collaboration of Spanish fusion with a touch of the Magic City. Chef Michelle Bernstein, a Miami native of Jewish and Latin descent, has dazzled diners and critics alike with her sublime cuisine and a personality as bright and vibrant as the Florida sun and we're excited to have her join us with some Spanish flare!

Have a taste of Madrid, Barcelona and Sevilla’s culinary scene via a delicious tapas tour including croquetas, cachapas, pastelitos, mofongo, Jamaican patties and more thanks to Sef Gonzalez - better known as the beloved Burger Beast – who’s tracked down the best in the city and brought them together for this late-night tasting affair.

Experience the culture and upscale flavors of Miami's premier neighborhood and shopping destination during the Miami Design District event series taking place exclusively during Festival weekend. The series will be anchored in the districts iconic Jungle Plaza and feature events that pay homage to the sophisticated and innovative fashion, architecture, design and world-class dining the district is famously known for.

We also can’t forget the various takes of Miami-inspired craft cocktails that will be served in the Miami Design District for a Miami-Vice affair you won’t want to forget!

All proceeds from the Festival benefit the students of the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management who assist Festival organizers in all aspects, including Festival planning, logistics and overall execution.
