Friday nights have never felt more fun. But don’t take our word for it -- just look at the sterling group of headliners we’ve rounded up for this sensational Shabbat dinner, taking place at the glittering Artisan Beach House at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami. First up is the incandescent Adeena Sussman, known to thousands of passionate foodies (and Instagram followers) as the bestselling author of the seminal Sababa and Chrissy Teigen’s outrageously popular Cravings cookbook series. For this exclusive SOBEWFF® dinner, she’ll develop a vibrant Israeli-flavored menu alongside The Spice Detective himself -- Yaniv Cohen -- the chef behind the terrific Jaffa (located inside the Design District’s Mia Market); and Miami favorite Sam Gorenstein, Executive Chef of the appealingly relaxed Abbalé Telavivian Kitchen. And what would a first-rate Shabbat meal be without a decadent dessert course prepared by Miami’s endlessly inventive pastry wizard, Hedy Goldsmith? Under the direction of Yos Schwartz, this formidable foursome will do it all -- light the candles, pour the wine (courtesy of Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits) and say the Hamotzi (after which you’ll no doubt recite a fourth blessing over their peerless gastronomic gifts). By the end of the evening, don’t be surprised if you feel like you’ve formed another kind of family. The gloriously scented and spiced dishes prepared by these exceptionally fine chefs have a mystifying way of making everyone feel like “mishpachah.”

This dinner will be Kosher.

Guests will be assigned seating prior to this event. We can only guarantee that tickets purchased within the same transaction will be seated together. The Festival cannot guarantee accommodation of specific dietary requirements (including preferences and allergies) at this event. Please contact us at tickets@sobewff.org no later than two (2) weeks prior to this event to inquire if the venue and chefs can assist with your request.

All proceeds from the Festival benefit the students of the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management who assist Festival organizers in all aspects, including Festival planning, logistics and overall execution.

All guests, talent, staff, students and working personnel at all event venues will be required to complete a digital health screening through SymCheck™. This includes attestation of either: a negative COVID-19 test no more than 72 hours prior to the event OR completed vaccination plus presentation of a cleared SymCheck™ QR Code. Anyone presenting symptoms on arrival will be denied entry.

By attending a 2022 SOBEWFF® Event:

  2. You acknowledge that you (and all ticketed attendees) will complete a required SymCheck™ Screening & Health questionnaire on the day you are attending a SOBEWFF® event.
  3. You acknowledge that you (and all ticketed attendees) will be required to attest to either a negative COVID-19 test no more than 72 hours prior to the event(s) you are attending or completed vaccination.
  4. You (and all ticketed attendees) understand that by attending SOBEWFF® and therefore being subject to these COVID-19 Protocols, SOBEWFF® reserves the right to refuse entry or remove an individual from an event if any such protocols are breached.
