Golden Krust has hired Ryan Cross as the Corporate Executive Chef with over 20 years of experience in hotel and restaurants, Ryan has extensive knowledge of all types of culinary delicacies. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a degree in International Business, Cross has a proven ability to manage all levels of personnel, inventory, and communications between internal and external department.

In a course of three years, Cross worked for the Ritz-Carlton, in Fort Lauderdale Beach Florida, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. He produced tailored savory items for 3 outlets including Pool Kitchen, Business Banquet and 1 Club Level, with a total F&B Revenue of $16.5 million. Cross managed food and labor budget(s) to achieve strong overall numbers for success. Cross continues to thrive beyond boundaries by partnered with event planners and culinary team to raise overall food quality and guest satisfaction and engagement in all restaurant outlets and banquet functions. He was responsible for leading and training a team of 3 cooks for success in food preparation and confidence in quality and presentation, as well as continuing growth and development of Ladies and Gentlemen to strive for overall success.

Cross worked at the Marriott Orlando World Center in Orlando, FL over a course of four years where he was assistant pastry chef. Part of his job description consist of producing in house products for 9 food outlets as well as execution of a wide variety of fresh daily baked breakfast breads. Cross contributed to 100% employee retention by proving ongoing employee training, promoting teamwork and fostering career growth for employees.
Ryan was also a Gold Medalist in the “Taste of the Caribbean” competition hosted by Food Network.
