A native South Floridian, Jorge Ramos serves as the executive chef at Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach, overseeing food and beverage efforts for the resort’s dining outlets including Atlas Cocktail Lounge, Spinnaker Pool Grill, Cornucopia Gourmet Market, in-suite dining and banquet cuisine.

In his role, he has also been instrumental in collaborating with Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach’s sales team to drive business with local and corporate groups. Jorge will be representing the resort at The 2019 South Beach Wine and Food Festival participating in two events.

Before joining the resort, Jorge served as an integral member at several of the area’s most prolific hotels, including the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, W Fort Lauderdale, The Ritz Carlton South Beach, The Ritz Carlton Bal Harbour and 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach. He has also assisted in various company hotel opening such as The Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, Hilton West Palm Beach and Cleveland Hilton to name a few.

In his free time, Jorge volunteers at Sheridan Hills Christian School, where he educates children on culinary arts and how it can serve as a vehicle for creativity. He also volunteers to prepare meals for the school’s various gala and fundraising events.
