Born and raised in Thailand, Chef Vech immigrated to Miami for better opportunities. He has found himself honing the craft of sushi making for the last 30 years in restaurants like Zuma. Using his experiences and love for his culture, the food he creates pays homage to not only his homeland but the city that took him in and helped make him the chef he is today. Pla-Tu Sushi and Thai Tapas is a union of Thai cuisine and traditional and non-traditional sushi. Being named amongst the best restaurants in Florida by Yelp in 2023, Chef has continued his pursuit of his craft while serving delicious bites along the way. Chef now comes to South Beach excited not only to share his food with you but also to share the passion and love put into every bite.
