Mariano Araya
Born in Buenos Aires, Chef Mariano Araya began cooking at an early age, working in restaurants to help support his family. He arrived to the United States in 2001 and worked in several Miami restaurants, working his way up from prep cook to head chef. In 2017, he opened his first restaurant, Mariano’s Cuisine, which was known for marrying modern cooking techniques with traditional Argentinean cuisine.
In 2021, Vinya partnered with Chef Mariano to bring delicious, crave-able bites as a complement to the sommelier-curated wine lists at Vinya Wine & Market in Key Biscayne, as well as Vinya Table, in Coral Gables – opening Spring 2022.
