Chef Maria has competed on Bravo’s Top Chef and on the Food Network’s Chopped. She has been featured on the Cooking Channel, Travel Channel, and Tastemade, and been written about in The New York Times, National Geographic, USA Today, Washington Post, and Travel & Leisure.

In 2020 and 2022, Maria was honored as a James Beard Award semi-finalist for Best Chef in the Southwest Region. When she is not cooking, Maria enjoys boxing and leatherworking.
