Mari Wells Coyle joined Foley Family Wines & Spirits in 2023 as the Winemaker for Southern Sonoma, crafting vineyard driven wines for Chateau St. Jean and Sebastiani. In her current role as VP of Winemaking for Foley Family Wines & Spirits she leads the winemaking efforts for more than 20 winery properties throughout Sonoma County, Napa Valley, California’s Central Coast, Willamette Valley, and Walla Walla which produce the highly acclaimed estate wines. Prior to joining Foley Family Wines, Coyle’s 25 years of winemaking experience include notable wineries such as Gloria Ferrer and Merry Edwards in Sonoma County, Sterling Vineyards and ONEHOPE Winery in Napa Valley, and Chard Farm in Central Otago. Coyle first earned her degree in Viticulture and Enology from the University of California, Davis. She resides in Santa Rosa with her husband, two sons, and dog, Snoopy.
