As a child, Luis developed his passion for the kitchen thanks to his Grandmother, who, ironically, never allowed him to help while she was cooking. Unable to get his hands in the kitchen, Luis began his journey toward becoming a chef by simply watching every move his Grandmother made in the kitchen. While watching her cook, he also smelled every ingredient that she would use, to the point where he didn’t need to be looking at her to know what she was cooking.

Now, years later, and thousands of miles away from his childhood home, Luis is building on that foundation. In 2006, he graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute. In 2014 he opened a food truck and after watching crowds rave about his specialty item the “Megaton & Tacoton” he decided to open The Crazy Toston in Miami, Florida.

The Crazy Toston is Mash Up Fast Food Joint thats home to the Megaton and Tacoton!!!

A Megaton is a very thin and crispy really really large Toston topped with your choice of brisket, shrimp, veggies, chicken or fish…Drizzled with the most delicious sauces & the his Tacoton is not your ordinary Taco! Its a semi sweet plantain tortilla handmade by Chef Luis Moreno filled with your choice of brisket, chicken, veggies, breaded shrimp or Fish that will blow you away.

After four years going strong he is proud to be a part of the SOBEWFF for the first time in his career!
