Meet Chef Kylian Goussot, the culinary virtuoso behind the exquisite dining experiences at Lafayette Steakhouse and Marion Miami. Hailing from the picturesque town of Nice in the southeast of France, Kylian’s journey into the culinary world commenced in his grandmother’s kitchen, where he used to help cook dinners for his entire family.
Fuelled by a pursuit of culinary excellence, Kylian embarked on a formal culinary education, earning accolades and a diploma with a specialty in pastry at Paul Augier high school » in Nice, Côte d’Azur. He honed his craft in the kitchens of Michelin-starred restaurants and prestigious 5-Star palace hotels along the French Riviera and in the French Alps, under the tutelage of luminaries such as Joel Robuchon and the Rothschild family.
Driven by a desire to to explore the world, Kylian’s journey led him to the shores of St. Barths, where he served as head sous chef at the esteemed Eden Rock hotel, working alongside the multi-michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Four transformative years later, he set his sights on the vibrant culinary landscape of the United States.
In Miami, Kylian found his culinary home with Mr. Hospitality, a renowned hospitality group synonymous with innovation and excellence. Under the visionary leadership of Mathieu Massa, Kylian assumed the mantle of Executive Chef at Lafayette Steakhouse and Marion Miami, each venue embodying a distinct culinary identity.
At Lafayette Steakhouse, Kylian’s culinary artistry shines through meticulously curated menus featuring prime cuts of USDA dry-aged beef and succulent seafood delicacies. Meanwhile, Marion Miami offers an enticing fusion of Asian-American flavors, reflecting Kylian’s unwavering commitment to innovation and diversity.
