Kelly Blanco joined WTVJ, NBC 6 South Florida as the Traffic, Entertainment, and Lifestyle Reporter in March of 2013. Kelly’s career kicked off while still in high school when she co-hosted a syndicated music news show. Since then, she has covered events such as the Super Bowl, the Academy Awards, and even the Paralympics.

Most recently, Kelly moderated Daniella Levine Cava’s first town hall since becoming the first Madam Mayor of Miami-Dade County. Blanco is involved with numerous charities including Health in the Hood and the Jason Taylor Foundation. She is an advocate for the Wow Center and The Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. In 2020, Ocean Drive selected Kelly as one of the year’s “Most Influential Women” of Miami for her work to make South Florida a more generous, compassionate, and inclusive community. She was also voted “Best TV News Anchor” of 2020 by Miami New Times “Best of Miami’s” readers choice. Blanco’s passion for the community that watched her grow up is something that is evident with every interview she conducts.
