Joseph Bonavita has served as the Executive Chef at STK South Beach since April 2019. In this role, he leads culinary innovation, staff management and operational elements for the front- and back-of-house. He credits his career path and love for all things culinary to his large Italian family who inspired him to focus on a career in restaurants. Prior to joining The ONE Group, Chef Bonavita most recently served as the Executive Chef at the Trophy Room Restaurant, where he developed training programs for culinary and bar staff, and as Executive Chef at Tideline Ocean Resort & Spa. Chef Bonavita has more than a decade of experience in the restaurant industry, beginning with his training in the kitchens of Le Bernardin in New York and Alinea Restaurant in Chicago, a three star Michelin restaurant.
