His passion for great wines and this profession of excellence encouraged him to run for the title of Master of Wine in 2013. Jean-Philippe have more than 18 years of experience as a sommelier and wine connoisseur. It is during the 9th edition of the Jazz Festival, in 2012 at Château l’Hospitalet, that he and Gérard Bertrand discussed their shared ambition to promote the excellence of the wines and the potential of the terroirs from the South of France around the world. A few weeks later, Jean-Philippe became the export director of Gérard Bertrand Wines in Canada.
