Celebrated pastry chef Hedy Goldsmith sweetened up and revolutionized the Miami culinary scene with her signature, retro-modern desserts at Michael’s Genuine Food and Drink, before she moved to Los Angeles, where she launched three product lines under her Sweet Hedy brand. A 2012 and 2013 James Beard Award Finalist for the nationally contested Outstanding Pastry Chef, Goldsmith also authored “Baking Out Loud: Fun Desserts With Big Flavors,” and has been featured on the TODAY Show, appeared for six seasons on Cooking Channels, “Unique Sweets”, Food Network and its show “Iron Chef America,” where her all-star team of women defeated Chef Bobby Flay, The New York Times, PEOPLE Magazine, and other programs and publications. Upon her sweet return to Miami with her wife and Shih Tzu, Sweetpea, she’s now at the helm of Verde at Perez Art Museum Miami as Executive Chef. Verde, the scenic restaurant at PAMM, has one of Miami’s most stunning waterfront views and now has a chef in the kitchen to match.
