Guillaume Deglise
Guillaume Deglise joined Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) as International Director in July 2020.
He has spent his entire career in the wine business. After a successful start in Champagne, where he played various management roles for Bollinger (1998-2002) and then Laurent-Perrier (2002-2013), he became in 2013 the Chief Executive of the famous wine trade show Vinexpo, for which he led a strong growth in Bordeaux and overseas (Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York and Shanghai).
After 5 years in this challenging environment, he decided to refocus his career in wine. In early 2019, he joined the family-owned House Albert Bichot in Beaune, Burgundy, as Chief Executive. He was then called back in Bordeaux by DBR Lafite to run the international business. The Rothschild family is owner of Château Lafite Rothschild (Premier Grand Cru Classé in Pauillac), Château Duhart-Milon (Grand Cru Classé in Pauillac), Château Rieussec (Premier Grand Cru Classé in Sauternes), Château L’Évangile (Pomerol) in the Bordeaux region, but also Domaine d’Aussières (Languedoc, 1999), Bodegas CARO (Argentina, 1999), Viña Los Vascos (Chile, 1988) and Domaine de Long Dai (China).
Guillaume Deglise is graduated from Burgundy School of Business and has completed the WSET Level 3. He is married and a father of a 16 year-old daughter.
