Grandson of a French Chef and son of a Wine & Spirits Distributor, Grant started his culinary career early professionally cooking at the age of 15 in Greenwich, CT. He was a chef at Country Clubs in Greenwich and at The Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles learning from Executive Chef Gary Clausen. After attending Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, Grant moved to Florida where he was the Executive Chef at St. Tropez Al Fresco Bistro. Grant eventually took an opportunity to enter the Wine & Spirits industry working for Coastal Wine & Spirits and eventually becoming the state manager for Tito’s Handmade Vodka. He moved to Key West in 2018 where he was the South East Regional Director for Heritage Distilling Company.The Pandemic hit and he took a turn back into the culinary world when he was offered the opportunity to open a small but charming restaurant in Key West called Poke in the Rear (serving up beautiful Poke Bowls behind the drag club named Aqua)!
