Giovanni Fesser, better known by the moniker Pastelito Papi, attended Johnson & Wales University and has been the Sous Chef at Ariete restaurant in Coconut Grove since 2015. Throughout his 20 years of experience, he has worked notable individuals such as Chef Norman Van Aken, and currently Chef Michael Beltran at Ariete.

Inspired by is Cuban heritage, Giovanni has recently captured the attention of the Miami foodie scene with his innovative twist on the acclaimed Cuban pastry, the pastelito.
