Gilles de Larouzière Henriot is Chairman and CEO of Maisons & Domaines Henriot, representing the eighth generation of a family tradition that began in Champagne in 1808 and perpetuates magnifying the finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay terroirs of their domaines including the namesake Champagne Henriot, Bouchard Père & Fils in Burgundy, William Fèvre in Chablis, and Beaux Frères in Oregon, USA.

Born in 1974, Gilles holds a law degree from l’Université de Paris-La Sorbonne and is a graduate from l’Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (“Science Po”). Gilles began a career in strategy consulting with several large French groups before joining his family’s company.

In 2011, Gilles succeeded his mother, Madeleine Henriot, on the Board of Directors of Maisons & Domaines Henriot and, for over 4 years, he worked closely with his uncle, Group President, Joseph Henriot. Following Joseph’s sudden passing in 2015, Gilles was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors on June 8 of the same year.

Gilles is also the President of the “Association des Climats du Vignoble de Bourgogne” (UNESCO world heritage) and Administrator of two major Burgundy Wine Trade Associations called l’Union des Maisons de Vins de Grande Bourgogne (UMVGB) and Bureau Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bourogone (BIVB).

Gilles de Larouzière Henriot is married to Cécile de Villaines and has four children.
