Cuban, Caribbean and Southern Fusion is the best way to describe Chef Ena’s dishes. Born in New York City to Cuban immigrant parents and raised in Miami, Florida, Ena has been in the kitchen before she could reach the stove. Growing up, her mother, Yolanda, worked at several hospitals and nursing homes. As a side gig, her mother would cater private parties for the doctors and staff, and Ena would be right by her side.

Born in New York City to Cuban immigrant parents and raised in Miami, Florida, Ena has been in the kitchen before she could reach the stove. Growing up, her mother, Yolanda, worked at several hospitals and nursing homes. As a side gig, her mother would cater private parties for the doctors and staff, and Ena would be right by her side.

Over the years, she continued to perfect her culinary skills, as she relocated from South Florida to Georgia and then later to Boligee, Alabama, Virginia and back to Miami. In Alabama, she learned how to cook soul food from scratch. In Virginia and Miami she perfected Caribbean delicacies.

Chef Ena began creates culturally diverse dishes while still maintaining the flavors and heritage of her traditional Cuban roots. In 2018, she opened up her restaurant in Sunrise, FL aptly called, Chef Ena Kitchen.
