Chef Holmes born Deraine Holmes II on July 22,1993 in Hollywood Fl at Memorial Regional Hospital. I was raised in Hallandale Beach and resides with both parents, When i was 8 years old I expressed my interest to my parents that I wanted to be a chef. At the age of 14, during summer vacation I worked at the Austin Hepburn Center for the City Of Hallandale Beach. I would help Ms. Clara Brown prepare meals for the youth kids that attended the summer program. In August of 2012 I begun my trade at Le cordon Bleu College Of Culinary School. the Culinary Program was 18 months with 3 months of internship. I did my internship at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Miami. once I completed my internship, I was hired by the Hyatt to work as a cook 3 in their kitchen. I worked at the Hyatt from 2012 to 2017. I resigned August of 2017 to begin my own business as a food trucker. Chef Holmes Smokin Bones is the name of my business. Currently I have been in business for 4 years. One day I hope to open a restaurant in the City Of Hallandale Beach , Because that is where it all started
