Daniel Garner began his culinary career during his senior year of college in 2009. He opened a sushi and “Louisiana Style” restaurant partnering with a local restaurant group. In 2010 Daniel moved to Dallas, TX and began his journey with Nobu Restaurants. From 2010-2016 Daniel moved around various Nobu locations including Nobu Hamptons Pop-Up, Nobu Malibu and Nobu Beijing. He was promoted throughout his time to Sous Chef and then Executive Chef.

In 2016 Daniel ended his time with Nobu and moved to Hong Kong to open OKRA Hong Kong with a chef colleague.

In 2017 Daniel was hired as Head Chef of Zuma New York and was quickly promoted to Executive Chef of Zuma Miami where he currently resides.
