Cesar Gonzalez
Chef Cesar Gonzalez is the Executive Chef at Casa Vigil Miami, the second outpost of renowned winemaker Alejandro Vigil’s Michelin-Starred restaurant from Mendoza, Argentina. Located in Miami’s Upper Buena Vista neighborhood, Gonzalez is responsible for the restaurant’s menu creation — which specializes in serving exceptional tasting menus and wine pairings — mentoring kitchen staff, as well as creating a fully immersive experience through his innovative dishes.
Gonzalez was born in Madrid and was inspired by his family’s years of experience running restaurants and pastry shops. His father once told him that “if you do what you love, you’ll never have to work a day in your life,” which motivated him to push boundaries and follow his dream of mastering his culinary skills. Gonzalez, a world traveler, has worked in some of the most prestigious kitchens, including Valls Group, RIU Hotels, La Maison 1888 in Vietnam, and others. Gonzalez specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, focusing on coastal and mountainous flavors.
When not in the kitchen, Gonzalez enjoys horseback riding, traveling, or going out on the boat.
