Born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. Blair began working in Delaware’s oldest pizza restaurant Grotto Pizza at the age of 16 as a bus boy, working through the ranks in the the back of house. Blair learned to make pizza at 18 and then onto managing pizza tables at all Grotto Pizza locations.

In 2001 he moved to Miami and attended Johnson and Wales university, studying hospitality management, working during school and advancing in the ranks after at Carrabas. A trip through Europe with a two week pizza internship in Florence, Italy, solidified his passion for the perfect pie. He arrived at Harry’s Pizzeria as kitchen manager at the perfect time, with James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz’s pizza joint growing to encompass multiple locations in South Florida including a rebranding to Genuine Pizza. Blair not only leads the kitchen at its flagship Aventura Mall location, but heads up training, kitchen standards, and pizza classes with Schwartz. Most recently worked with The Genuine Hospitality Group Culinary Director Bradley Herron and Schwartz on revamping the menu for all pizza locations.
