Angelo Masarin – Co-Owner & Executive Chef, Salumeria 104
Born in Treviso, Italy, Angelo Masarin discovered his passion for food at an early age, learning traditional techniques from his grandmother and donning his first apron in Milan at seventeen. He refined his skills at the Istituto Professionale Alberghiero Giuseppe Maffioli and the Culinary Institute of Castelfranco Veneto, later working in prestigious Italian kitchens such as Harry’s Bar and Locanda Cipriani.
Masarin’s career then took him to the United States, where he spent several years as Executive Chef at an Italian restaurant in Hartford, Connecticut. In 2009, he arrived in Miami, taking on culinary roles at Sardinia Enoteca, Casa Tua, and Cecconi’s at Soho House. Two years later, he partnered with Graziano Sbroggio and Carlo Donadoni to open Salumeria 104, first in Midtown Miami and later expanding to Coral Gables, Weston, and Atlantic Beach.
As Executive Chef and Co-Owner, Masarin continues to honor the traditions of an authentic Italian salumeria while bringing fresh creativity and innovation to Florida’s dining scene.
