Fischer founded BourbonBlog.com nearly 15 years ago before the Bourbon revolution started. The site became the #1 online resource for American Whiskey and continues to chronicle the rise of Bourbon and whiskeys with millions of views on the site and YouTube.com/BourbonBlog. The idea for BourbonBlog.com came after working with celebrities Dawn Wells, “Mary Ann” from Gilligan’s Island, Danny Glover, and Steve Martin to start a film festival in Idaho. Shortly after Fischer was inspired to create one of the first Bourbon documentaries of the era which grew into the birth of BourbonBlog.com.

Before life in media, Fischer taught media and marketing at the college level in Oxford, England. Fischer is recognized as a Kentucky Colonel being honored with the title by the Governor of Kentucky. (The equivalent of being knighted in Kentucky). In broadcast media, Fischer has also worked as talk radio show host, on-air radio personality and TV news reporter and producer.
