Since opening his first restaurant for his family at age 12, Jean Imbert has had a full understanding of classical French gastronomy. By age 19, he was the youngest graduate of the Institut Paul Bocuse and by age of 22, he opened the internationally
acclaimed L’Acajou in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.

In 2012, Imbert won season three of Top Chef France and his rise to fame soon followed, making him one of Europe’s most well-known chefs. In 2015, he joined forces with Eric Kayser to open Les Bols de Jean – an ecologically-focused fast casual cafe serving imaginative bread bowls with three locations throughout Paris. As one of the first French chefs to be recognized for responsible cuisine, he published a book in September 2017 focused on eco-responsible recipes, encouraging readers to practice
reasoned fishing and use locally sourced ingredients.

Imbert serves as the “Lolla Chef” for Lollapalooza France, one of the largest music festivals in the world. He develops menus and coordinates six other chefs to cook for 50,000 visitors a day. Imbert has established himself as a chef to the stars, cooking for the likes of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Robert De Niro, The Weeknd, Coldplay and Marion Cotillard, to name a few. Over the years, these celebrities have become Jean’s close friends, leading to exciting partnerships and big-brand events.
