Description
There’s nothing quite as comforting as a big bowl of freshly cooked pasta. Thanks to Evan Funke, here’s your chance to learn how to prepare your very own pasta dishes at home, guaranteed to impress family, friends, and dinner party guests alike. Evan Funke is a culinary storyteller, a custodian of Italian tradition and a master of the old world techniques of handmade pasta. Funke’s singular passion as a pasta maker and chef was solidified in Bologna, under the mentorship of Alessandra Spisni at La Vecchia Scuola Bolognese. Evan brings nearly two decades of excellence to Gusto 54 in their first international venture on Abbot Kinney in Venice, California. Felix Trattoria embodies a philosophy of seasonality, warm hospitality and the deeply rooted culinary traditions of regional Italy. Learn to mix, knead, roll, cut, and cook your way to glory as Chef Funke shares invaluable tips and tricks for making the most incredible homemade pastas, a staple of any solid culinary repertoire. After saucing and serving your dish, you’ll get to savor superb samples prepared by the master, himself. This event in a word: Funke-alicious!
