Description
Turn up the heat and awaken your taste buds with Chef Cédric Vongerichten in this immersive Indonesian Cuisine Master Class. Known for his global culinary perspective and refined, modern approach, Cédric is one of the industry’s most dynamic chefs. The son of legendary chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, he has built an acclaimed career all his own as the chef and co-owner of Wayan in New York City—a Michelin Guide–recommended restaurant celebrated by The New York Times, Esquire, and Condé Nast Traveler for its stunning blend of Indonesian flavors and French technique.
From the fragrant lemongrass and fiery chilies of traditional dishes to the deep, layered complexity of Indonesia’s iconic sauces, you’ll dive into the vibrant world of Indonesian cooking under Cédric’s expert guidance. He’ll share insider tips, signature techniques, and the flavor secrets that have earned him a reputation as one of New York’s most exciting chefs.
You’ll roll up your sleeves and work hands-on with fresh ingredients, experimenting with authentic spices and textures to create dishes as beautiful as they are delicious. Then, sit down to savor the fruits of your labor—perfectly paired with thoughtfully selected beverages—in a true celebration of flavor, skill, and creativity.
This event will take place at SGWS Wynwood, a state-of-the-art multi-purpose hospitality and education center, located in the heart of Miami’s most eclectic and creative arts and culture district.
