Barbecue master and champion of the grill, Chef Chris Lilly, executive chef at the world famous Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q restaurant in Decatur, AL, is a pitmaster known for his signature spiced rubs and his mouth watering, fall-off-the-bone roasts. But don’t just take our word for it! Lilly has won five Memphis in May Grand Championships, eight barbecue grand championships and six world championships, and was even recognized by The Wall Street Journal as having the best pork barbecue in the country! So Miami, pull on your boots and get ready for a messy, down home dining experience at Hometown Barbecue, washed down with craft cocktails from Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
Hometown Barbecue, located in the Allapattah neighborhood of Miami, is the second barbecue restaurant from Brooklyn restaurateur Billy Durney, and is known for its authentic pit smoked meats and traditional sides. Crafted good n’ slow by one of America’s top pitmasters this is one finger lickin’ barbecue dinner at Hometown BBQ that you’ll regret missing out on.
Please note: This event takes place on sand. Please select appropriate footwear.
