Description

Let’s face it – sushi master classes aren’t exactly a novel concept. But a sushi master class curated by David Grutman?! Pass the chopsticks, please. We know that the hospitality mogul isn’t a sushi chef but as is the case with all of his restaurants, taste – both in flavor and in presentation – is of paramount importance. And that’s exactly what we’re after at this exclusive SOBEWFF® class and lunch hosted by Gekkō, the moody jewel-toned Japanese-inspired steakhouse and lounge in Brickell, which Grutman co-founded with GRAMMY® Award-winning recording artist Bad Bunny earlier this year, sets the stage perfectly.
The name "Gekkō" translates to "moonlight" in Japanese, and it provides the ideal, vibey atmosphere for mastering the art of crafting the restaurant's visually stunning sushi at home. In this interactive class and lunch, you'll delve into the intricacies of preparing, filling, rolling, plating, and serving the most extraordinary sushi creations. As the afternoon concludes, you'll be treated to a sumptuous lunch that puts your newfound skills to the ultimate test – the taste test!
