As the prolific Academy Award-winning film director Frederico Fellini once said, “Life is a combination of magic and pasta.” If pasta is indeed your love language, we suggest you look no further than this exclusive SOBEWFF® dinner, headlined by the great Stefano Secchi and Fabio Trabocchi. These two Michelin-starred chefs will make sweet (Italian) music as they collaborate on a menu that artfully blends Trabocchi’s contemporary approach to the country’s cuisine with the more rustic (but no less refined) appeal of Secchi, who trained under the peerless Massimo Bottura at the famed Osteria Francescana in Modena before opening Rezdôra in New York City. The handsome, wood-beamed elegance of Fiola’s dining room will set the scene for this intimate dinner, which also features robust Italian wine pairings from the Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits portfolio. After savoring this magnificent meal, don’t be surprised if Fellini’s words begin to take on the soaring, tuneful majesty of a Pavarotti classic. That’s simply Secchi and Trabocchi’s magic at work.
Guests will be assigned seating prior to this event. We can only guarantee that tickets purchased within the same transaction will be seated together. The Festival cannot guarantee accommodation of specific dietary requirements (including preferences and allergies) at this event. All proceeds from the Festival benefit the students of the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management who assist Festival organizers in all aspects, including Festival planning, logistics and overall execution.
All guests, talent, staff, students and working personnel at all event venues will be required to complete a digital health screening through SymCheck™. This includes attestation of either: a negative COVID-19 test no more than 72 hours prior to the event OR completed vaccination plus presentation of a cleared SymCheck™ QR Code. Anyone presenting symptoms on arrival will be denied entry.
By attending a 2022 SOBEWFF® Event:
- You acknowledge that you (and all ticketed attendees) will comply with all SOBEWFF® Health & Safety Protocols, before and during the event.
- You acknowledge that you (and all ticketed attendees) will complete a required SymCheck™ Screening & Health questionnaire on the day you are attending a SOBEWFF® event.
- You acknowledge that you (and all ticketed attendees) will be required to attest to either a negative COVID-19 test no more than 72 hours prior to the event(s) you are attending or completed vaccination.
- You (and all ticketed attendees) understand that by attending SOBEWFF® and therefore being subject to these COVID-19 Protocols, SOBEWFF® reserves the right to refuse entry or remove an individual from an event if any such protocols are breached.
