Treat yourself to a little taste of “La Dolce Vita” at this exclusive SOBEWFF® dinner headlined by the great PJ Calapa and Fabio Trabocchi. Formerly of the Michelin-starred Ai Fiori, Calapa is best known today as the Executive Chef of the New York City hotspots Scampi and The Spaniard. This year, he will be collaborating with James Beard Award winner Trabocchi, the Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur responsible for the sophisticated Coral Gables restaurant Fiola. Together, these two powerhouse chefs will make sweet Italian music as they collaborate on a menu that artfully blends Trabocchi’s contemporary approach with Calapa’s Southern Italian point of view. The handsome, wood-beamed elegance of Fiola’s dining room will set the scene for this intimate dinner that also features robust Italian wine pairings from the Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits portfolio.
Guests will be assigned seating prior to this event. We can only guarantee that tickets purchased within the same transaction will be seated together. All net proceeds from the Festival benefit the students of the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management who assist Festival organizers in all aspects, including Festival planning, logistics and overall execution.
