Description

Dumpling lovers, rejoice and look no further than this interactive event hosted by Temple Street Eatery chef/owners and FIU Chaplin School alums Alex Kuk and Diego Ng! At this SOBEWFF® master class, you’ll learn the chefs' expert techniques for wrapping, folding, filling, and cooking these Asian-flavored bundles, forming the perfect foundation for a recipe book’s worth of canapés and main courses. Kuk and Ng, who have owned and operated the excellent South Florida restaurant since 2014, will talk through the many different dumpling folds and preparations before teaching you how to make a tasty pan-fried first course and an aromatic wonton soup that’s sure to hit all the right notes. The Real Food Academy, Miami’s preeminent destination for personalized cooking classes, will set the stage for what is destined to be a fun-filled educational experience that unwraps the secret to making this universally loved comfort food.

All net proceeds from the Festival benefit the students of the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management who assist Festival organizers in all aspects, including Festival planning, logistics and overall execution.
