Oye! If you want to learn how to make the most delicious Cuban food, this event is for you. Join Monica (“Mika”) Leon, chef/owner of Caja Caliente for inside secrets and savory samples. Caja Caliente is located in Coral Gables. All dishes are made with the freshest ingredients, where quality and quantity go hand in hand. In addition to Mika’s signature tacos, the eatery features reinvented family recipes, passed down over four decades. Mika focuses on healthy prep of classic Cuban food, drawing inspiration from seasonal ingredients to create new dishes in line with her own clean, whole-foods diet. Outside the kitchen, Leon has been cultivating a growing media career with appearances on the Food Network’s “Guy’s Grocery Games,” “Chopped” and “Beat Bobby Flay,” among other TV shows. Mika knows her stuff. And rumor has it, her Mojito is out of this world. See and taste for yourself at this sizzling SOBEWFF event. Nos vemos pronto!
