Description
Four fabulous things in one fell swoop! Basque cheesecake. Chef Carlos Garcia. Leku Restaurant. Rubell Museum. Unlike traditional cheesecake, Basque cheesecake has a caramelized and burnt exterior with a creamy, custard-like center. Basque cheesecake, as its name suggests, has its origins in the Basque region of Spain. Also divine: Learning how to make it from master chef Carlos Garcia. Throughout his long and illustrious career, García has emerged as one of the most outstanding chefs in Latin America. In 2017, García opened Obra Kitchen Table in Miami’s downtown Brickell neighborhood. Garcia then joined the China Grill Management culinary team and Leku at the world-famous Rubell Museum, where he now leads the Michelin-recognized restaurant. Join Chef Garcia and friends from Leku at this chic teaching, tasting and sipping soiree. Artful deliciousness awaits!
