World-renowned Chef Michael Mina is a regular at the Festival, with his concepts Bourbon Steak, Pizza & Burger by Michael Mina and Stripsteak Miami serving as go-to favorites for both South Florida locals and visitors alike. This year, Mina is joined by Hugo Ortega, cookbook author, 2017 James Beard Award-winner (Best Chef: Southwest) and chef/owner of four of Houston’s top restaurants - Backstreet Cafe, Hugo’s, Caracol and Xochi, known for their traditional Mexican cuisine. Join us as Mina opens up the doors to his always-packed Bourbon Steak at Turnberry Isle Miami - currently helmed by South Florida favorite Executive Chef Gabriel Fenton - to Ortega to offer Festival-goers a unique dining experience that encompasses both classic tricks and new treats for one night only. This dinner will be perfectly paired with wines from Joseph Phelps Vineyards, a family-owned winery committed to crafting world class wines and best known for its flagship Napa Valley blend of red Bordeaux varieties, Insignia, first produced in 1974.
